Real Estate After Hurricane Dorian

Real Estate After Hurricane Dorian

Hurricane Dorian literally came to a screeching halt just 100 miles off the coast of West Palm Beach Florida this past week sparing Palm Beach County and much of Florida from hurricane havoc.

The anxiety of families in the middle of purchasing or selling a home was calmed by the fact that the storm never arrived.

Palm Beach County was prepared, and we are now focusing all of our efforts on supporting our Bahamian neighbors with as much brotherly love as possible. Businesses, schools, and families are all rallying support by taking all hurricane supplies to drop off locations where they will be sent to the Bahamas.

All warnings, evacuations and shutters are coming down for Palm Beach County and the hustle and bustle of all real estate transactions and regular life is resuming normal activity. If you had a scheduled closing during the storm, an extension was granted automatically without the need to sign anything. It's important to check in with your lender and title company to find out the new date and time to close.

Here's a list of supplies needed and drop off locations in Palm Beach County where you can take extra hurricane suppliies!
